* On 22-Oct-1999   gave it a rating because: I tested this new altimeter / compass watch and like it. The altimeter and rate of climb are on the same screen, but the refresh rate on the rate of climb indicator is too slow to be very useful for a vario, and it's too large to be worn on a small wrist. It is very light and waterproof: we can use it for scuba diving too. The compass is cool for scuba diving. Sunnto's altimeter is very accurate and you can replace the battery yourself. The barometer is also very good. Way cool watch to have. You can purchase it cheap here!

* On 17-Mar-2000   gave it a rating because: I currently use this device as an everyday watch. I am also a skydiver and use the altimeter for recording multiple logs on different jumps. The altimeter is VERY accurate! I rave about this peice to all of my fellow jumpers and recomend it highly to anyone!!!
