| Detail Information/Technical Data: The Performance Directional Line The "Performance" line is designed for the intermediate to advanced rider. This line excels under the feet of an aggressive KiteSurfer. Designed to favor control and confidence in both jumps and speed, these boards are considerably thinner and more parallel in outline, with harder edges. Because of their reduced floatation, they must be ridden "powered up" by riders who can consistently keep the kite in the power zone. The "knife-like" rails of these boards sink into the water like butter, making powered up kiting a blast, and your jumps instantly larger. These are the boards top team riders are competing on. The PE boards are build with a full carbon and wood sandwich technology which give them the strength and the flexibility required to endure the rigor of an advanced KiteSurfer and still, weight below 3.50 kg or 7.50 lbs. The boards are designed to accommodate a three fin-system for early planning while conserving control in all situations, and to improve jibing capability. Our "through-the-deck" fin system is the only one like it on the market, ensuring seasons of fail-proof usage that "surfboard style" boxes can't match. All our boards come fully equipped with a deck pad, a shock absorber under the heels, three foot-straps and three fins. The XS70 or PE192 is optimized for riders weight around 70kg / 154lbs and below. The XM80 or PE197 is optimized for riders weight around 80kg / 175lbs. The XL90 or PE202 is optimized for riders weight around 90kg / 198lbs and up |

because: I weight 70Kg - 155lbs. This is one of my personal favorite board at the moment since it is very light. I usually ride this board most of the time. I can pull off loops even with little 1 foot wave with this board easily. This board cuts really nice. Extending the front leg and sinking down the back leg, soon you will find the sweet spot of the board. Jibing on this board takes a bit of getting used to it because the nose tends to sink down a little. I really don't like the front straps bunched up together. Perhaps F-One can redo the front foot straps arrangement to be like on the AA215 board. Up wind on this board is a much improvement over the AA215 board. I was riding very powered up and most of the time, I noticed that my back foot, the heel of my foot was actually in the water: this is a good indication that the tail is a little bit narrow. In conlusion, this board is a great board for jumps, riding wave, pulling loops. It is very well made!

because: this is my 3rd board and the smallest so far,it does go upwind very well but only when well powered up,if its gusty then i'm struggling and i'm walking, same deal when gybing unless you have enough power in the gybe your dancing or your swimming.the front straps overlap in the middle, this must be a design fault but they're stll attatched. fairly strong construction but the black carbon layer is only just below the top coat,so its been patched a few times.the fins start to shred once you've ground off the edges on the beach this is the best board i've had so far,but i'm still looking for that perfect board. |
