We crossed the border and checked in Beach Hotel Mission Santa Maria in San Quentin and went kiteboarding in light offshore wind at the beach in front of the hotel. Wind was light and gusty so we did a downwinder.

We arrived to Punta San Carlos around 2 p.m. and the south swells also arrived the same time. We were treated with double overhead waves.
Saturday May 15, 2010
Everyone surfed this morning. Kinsley was out riding the new 9'0 Mctavish board. Then the wind picked up around 10 a.m. and we kited all day long in double over head waves and nice 9.5m Kahoona wind. Some riders were out on 7.5 Kahoona.

Everyone surfed this morning. Kinsley was out riding the new 9'0 Mctavish board again then we took off and jammed back home. Steve Davies pulled the long distance record driving and we made it to Pismo beach around 2 a.m. on Monday morning.

We woke up, unpacked and cleaned up. No wind and no waves so we went out SUP Fishing at Kinsley's secret spots.
